  • Own and manage the Solution Backlog, including intake, prioritization, and ongoing refinement.
  • Decompose Strategic Themes into Portfolio Epics, and further into Program Epics as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain epic acceptance criteria, MVP definitions, and success measures.
  • Monitor and manage scope changes through formal scope and financial change management.

  • Develop lean business cases and epic justifications
  • Act as a primary liaison between business and IT, ensuring clarity of intent and prioritization.
  • Facilitate epic kickoffs and refinement sessions to clarify scope and dependencies.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Solution and System Architects to ensure solutions remain aligned as scope evolves.
  • Partner with Quality Engineering to define end‑to‑end test strategies and ensure business acceptance testing (BAT) readiness.
  • Work closely with Delivery Managers to support large‑solution planning, dependency management, and delivery readiness (without owning execution).

Governance & Continuous Refinement

  • Maintain continuous refinement of solution scope, recognizing that epics move through varying states of maturity.
  • Identify cross‑team impacts, risks, and dependencies; ensure they are visible and addressed.
  • Support portfolio planning, prioritization discussions, and PI readiness activities.
