Your new role
What you'll be driving:
- Rebuilding and leading a newly formed HR team
- End to end ownership of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance and offboarding
- Supporting leaders through performance, behavioural and employee relations matters
- Supporting the wider team in upcoming Enterprise Agreement negotiations and implementation
- Transforming HR from paper based processes to streamlined electronic systems
- Embedding strong compliance, governance and workforce reporting frameworks
- Collaborating closely with the Safety Manager on workers compensation, wellbeing and risk
- Supporting a diverse workforce of employees and a large volunteer base
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualified in Human Resources, or a related discipline
- An experienced HR leader or senior generalist ready to step into a broad, influential role
- Comfortable operating in complex, regulated or government aligned environments
- Experienced with Enterprise Agreements and industrial relations (highly desirable)
- A practical problem solver with a strong systems mindset and experience uplifting HR processes
- A confident, personable communicator who builds trust quickly across diverse stakeholder groups
- A natural collaborator who enjoys being hands on and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves
- Calm, pragmatic and adaptable when navigating long tenured teams and cultural change
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Employment Hero particularly) and exposure to volunteer based organisations will be highly regarded.
