Senior Scrum Master (hands on) – Banking Client – Brussels

Rate: Flexible

Duration: 9 months

Hybrid working: 8 days onsite in the brussels office per month, the rest is remote working

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Scrum Master with strong communication skills to guide Agile practices and ensure timely delivery across squads.

Your day-to-day mission:

• Coach teams in Agile principles, practices and metrics
• Collaborate with the Product Owners to manage backlogs - with good data quality - and realign priorities if needed
• Identify and support in resolving team impediments
• Facilitating squad ceremonies to support/develop/improve squad efficiency, autonomy and cross-functional collaboration
• Ensuring compliance to way of working within the squad
• Monitor performance to drive continuous improvement
• Work closely with squad leads and promote team dynamics and psychological safety
• Actively participate in the Scrum Master community

What you need to have to succeed in this role:

• 3-5 years’ experience as either Scrum Master or agile coach
• Demonstrated servant-leadership mindset to deliver value effectively
• Experience working within Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Change management and facilitation experience
• Establishes collaborative relationships that promote transparency, trust, and team cohesion, including outsourced and offshored team
• Strong stakeholder management with effective organization, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Knowledge of value based delivery
• Strong communication skills in English
• PSM1 or equivalent certification

What makes you stand out

• Proven experience as Scrum Master and/or agile coach
• Knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps and ServiceNow
• Technical expertise and experience in the financial industry
