Your Role:
- We are looking for an AI & Machine Learning Engineer to support the development and implementation of AI-based solutions. In this hybrid role (2–3 days on-site in Murnau am Staffelsee), you will focus on building, training, and integrating machine learning models into production systems.
- You will work closely with engineers and technical teams to support the full lifecycle of AI features, from data preparation and model development to deployment and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Machine Learning Development
- Develop and train machine learning models for real-world use cases.
- Work with structured and time-series/sensor data where applicable.
- Apply standard ML and deep learning techniques to solve applied problems.
Data & Pipelines
- Support the development of data pipelines for training and inference.
- Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering.
- Work with teams to ensure data is structured and usable for ML applications.
Model Integration & Deployment
- Support the integration of ML models into existing software systems.
- Assist in deploying models into production environments.
- Help ensure models run reliably and perform as expected in production.
Collaboration with Engineering Teams
- Work with software engineers and data teams to implement AI features.
- Translate technical requirements into ML solutions.
- Participate in discussions around implementation and feasibility.
Monitoring & Improvement
- Monitor model performance and support improvements over time.
- Assist in debugging and resolving issues related to data or model behavior.
- Contribute to iterative improvements of existing AI features.

Your Profile:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or similar.
- Experience in Machine Learning or Data Science in applied environments.
- Good understanding of Python and common ML libraries (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
- Familiarity with data handling and basic pipeline concepts.
- Understanding of how ML models are deployed or used in production is a plus.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in technical teams.
- Fluency in German.
