Finance Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller to oversee the company’s financial governance, regulatory reporting, and capital management. This role will be responsible for ensuring strong financial controls, accurate regulatory submissions, and effective financial planning while acting as a key liaison with auditors and regulators. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, hands on, and comfortable operating in a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Regulatory Oversight

• Own and manage own funds monitoring, ensuring the company maintains sufficient regulatory capital at all times
• Prepare and submit regulatory financial reports in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements
• Monitor financial metrics and regulatory ratios to ensure ongoing compliance

Capital Planning & Forecasting

• Develop and maintain capital projections and financial forecasts
• Support management with financial planning, budgeting, and scenario analysis
• Provide insights on capital efficiency and financial performance

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast updates
• Track budget performance and provide variance analysis to senior management
• Support strategic decision making through financial modelling and analysis

Audit & External Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors during financial and regulatory audits
• Coordinate audit requests and ensure timely and accurate documentation
• Support interactions with regulators where required

Financial Controls & Governance

• Oversee and strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting and accounting processes
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred
• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial control, preferably within financial services, fintech, or regulated environments
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting and capital requirements
• Experience working with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
