Software Engineer

Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Software Responsible – Power Electronics to join our electrification and software development team.

The role

We are looking for a motivated and structured Software Responsible to lead and coordinate software development activities for power electronics solutions, with a strong focus on inverter control systems for electrified vehicles.

In this role, you will take ownership of the complete software scope for the converter control module across both ongoing and future vehicle programs. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and act as the main interface towards international suppliers, ensuring alignment, quality, and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

Complete Software – Point of Contact

• Act as the main point of contact for complete software tracks/branches
• Handle communication with internal stakeholders and external partners/suppliers
• Coordinate and lead activities at complete software level and represent the software scope
• Ensure strong information flow across teams and interfaces, increasing transparency and alignment
• Delegate incoming needs to the appropriate teams within the ART

Complete Software – Status & Reporting

• Maintain overview of key performance indicators (KPIs), such as:
• Change request implementation status
• Software integration status
• Requirement and sub‑function implementation status
• Delivery plan status
• Keep KPIs up to date and ready for presentation on request
• Analyze KPIs to identify risks and proactively request mitigation actions

Complete Software – Planning & Coordination

• Maintain a clear forward plan on function, sub‑function, and requirement level
• Ensure delivery plans and deadlines are continuously updated
• Anticipate and mitigate risks related to deliveries and timelines
• Ensure customers receive correct software at the right time and location
• Align development stakeholders from a vehicle program perspective

Programs & Projects

• Define clear scope and objectives for software programs and projects
• Lead, present, and coordinate activities across multiple teams and ARTs
• Drive collaboration and execution in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments

Experience / Background

• Degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent competence
• Experience related to software development is highly valued
• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in early development phases with evolving requirements and ambiguity
• Strong structured communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fluent in English (oral, written, and presentation skills)
• Valid B driving license or European equivalent
