What They’re Looking For

The team is seeking an experienced Fullstack Engineer who can take ownership of development work across both frontend and backend systems. The ideal candidate is self-driven, technically strong, and comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider agile team.

You should bring several years of hands-on development experience, particularly within JavaScript ecosystems, and be confident designing scalable solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver new platform features and full end-to-end solutions
• Support and enhance an existing optimisation platform, ensuring performance and scalability
• Build and maintain APIs while integrating with external third-party services
• Modernise legacy functionality using up-to-date frameworks and tools
• Tailor platform configurations to meet varying client requirements
• Translate business needs into practical and efficient technical solutions
• Contribute to automation initiatives and wider digital transformation efforts
• Develop backend services using Node.js and structured frameworks such as NestJS
• Create responsive and maintainable frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks (primarily Vue.js)
• Work with cloud-based infrastructure, particularly within AWS environments (including serverless services)
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality features
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code aligned with best practices and industry standards
• Apply test-driven development approaches using frameworks such as Jest or NUnit
• Participate in building intelligent, LLM-powered software solutions and next-generation tooling

Required Experience & Skills

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong background in Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development
• Experience working across full web stacks, including frameworks and libraries
• Solid understanding of relational databases, data modelling, and MySQL
• Exposure to cloud platforms, with AWS being highly desirable
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices
• Experience or exposure to AI-driven or agent-based development approaches is advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively and work within a team-oriented environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks
• Exposure to LLM-based tooling or agentic development environments
• Familiarity with additional JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
• Experience working in fast-paced, product-focused or eCommerce settings
