Auxilia Group Recruitment are currently recruiting for an IT Network Engineer on behalf of our client company operating in the shipping and logistics industry. This is a permanent opportunity based in Cork.
Role:
- Design, install, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.
- Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Implement and manage network security controls.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Support cloud networking solutions such as Azure and AWS.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line network support.
- Support IT projects and infrastructure upgrades.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Experience with enterprise network vendors.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
