Golang Developer

We’re working with a well-established organisation looking to bring in an experienced Senior SaaS / Application Engineer to support the configuration, optimisation, and ongoing delivery of business-critical applications.

This role is focused on adapting and enhancing packaged or SaaS solutions to meet evolving business needs — ensuring performance, stability, and scalability in a complex environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Configuring and supporting packaged / SaaS applications to meet business requirements
• Managing releases, updates, and ongoing system improvements
• Leveraging APIs, standard tools, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions
• Acting as a subject matter expert within the team
• Leading on technical decisions and contributing to wider architectural discussions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Monitoring application performance and implementing continuous improvements
• Ensuring system reliability through thorough testing and validation
• Supporting and mentoring team members, promoting knowledge sharing

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience working with packaged or SaaS applications
• Proven ability to configure and optimise systems in complex environments
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, and low-code tools
• Strong understanding of release management and system performance
• Experience contributing to technical and team-level decision making
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work across multiple teams in fast-paced environments

Nice to have:

• Experience with application performance monitoring tools
• Exposure to enterprise-scale environments
• Background in continuous improvement or optimisation initiatives
• Experience running training sessions or mentoring engineers
