About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our Technology & Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise web applications that support our core business functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver solutions that improve efficiency and user experience. Your expertise will contribute to automating processes, integrating new functionalities, and ensuring our web applications are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer passionate about logistics technology, automation, and innovative software solutions to make a tangible impact in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of hands-on full-stack development experience, with proficiency in React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, and related JavaScript/PHP frameworks. Familiarity with databases, version control tools such as Git or SVN, and web server environments like Apache or Nginx is essential. A strong problem-solving mindset, understanding of the software development lifecycle, and appreciation for UI/UX principles are required. Knowledge of CI/CD practices, cloud services such as AWS or Azure, and automated testing frameworks will be advantageous. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, along with familiarity with OCR frameworks, is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and possess a keen interest in emerging technologies like AI and automation. Willingness to relocate to Dubai or Oman after a probation period of approximately 12 months is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services that support business operations and strategic objectives, ensuring high performance and adherence to best coding practices.
• Collaborate with team leads and members to gather requirements, define project scope, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure consistency and quality in design and user experience.
• Document product specifications, technical procedures, and project progress for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, tools, and technologies in web development to continuously improve skills and project outcomes.
• Engage with yard staff, operations, and accounts teams to understand their workflows and incorporate their feedback into development cycles.
• Participate in system testing, automation, and troubleshooting to ensure robust and reliable web solutions.
