About The Role

As part of the Technology & Operations team, the Web Developer will be working on developing cutting-edge functionality for new or existing enterprise web applications. This role requires a proactive and innovative individual capable of translating business needs into effective technological solutions. The Web Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of web applications that support our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in full-stack development, problem-solving skills, and a keen interest in emerging technologies such as automation and artificial intelligence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization that values innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on full-stack development experience using React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, and related JavaScript/PHP frameworks
• Proficiency with databases and code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
• Experience with web servers like Apache or Nginx
• Strong problem-solving skills in operational environments
• Fundamental understanding of software development life cycles and UI/UX best practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean
• Familiarity with system testing and automated testing frameworks is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience
• Familiarity with OCR frameworks and related technologies
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai or Oman after approximately 12 months of probation, if required
• Ability to work effectively with onsite depot/yard operations, logistics, and accounts teams
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services to support business and operational objectives while adhering to best practices for performance and quality
• Collaborate with team leads and members to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure deadlines are met
• Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure consistency in design and user experience
• Document product specifications, project progress, and technical details for future reference and knowledge sharing
• Stay updated on emerging trends in web development, including new frameworks, tools, and methodologies
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Engage with operational teams to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues independently and collaboratively
