Full Stack Engineer

Addison Group is working with an IT services company in search for a Fullstack Engineer to join their growing team - This is 3 days onsite at the Fremont CA office. Please apply to be considered

This is a hands-on full stack engineering role focused on building and enhancing a desktop application using Electron and React. You’ll take ownership of features from concept through delivery, working across frontend and backend to solve complex, loosely defined problems.

Typical Day to Day (Tasks & Responsibilities):

• Develop and enhance desktop applications using ElectronJS and React
• Build and maintain frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js (and some Python where applicable)
• Manage application state using Redux or Context API
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to support application functionality
• Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using ElectronJS
• Build responsive and scalable frontend components using React, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
• Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js and Python
• Implement and manage application state using Redux or Context API
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to support application functionality
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for version control and SDLC
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across the full stack
• Translate high-level requirements into technical solutions and deliverables

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience with ElectronJS and full stack development
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with backend development using Node.js and/or Python
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and database technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
