With a strong focus on customer experience and data-driven decision-making, the business is investing in its analytics capability and is now seeking a Data Insights Analyst to join the Marketing team.
Your new role
By thorough analysis of marketing results, provide insights which can be used by marketing teams in Australia and Asia region to further understand and nurture our diverse customer base.
You will:
- Consolidate and analyse customer, product and usage data from multiple systems
- Build clear, engaging dashboards using Power BI (essential)
- Identify trends, patterns and opportunities across customer behaviour and product performance
- Translate complex data into actionable insights for marketing and regional stakeholders
- Challenge existing reporting and recommend improved ways to view and structure data
- Support both the Australian and wider Asia region (approx. 50/50 split)
- Investigate, measure, and consistently report on the effectiveness of all data-driven marketing activities.
- Ownership of quantitative data analysis and reporting
- Support the delivery and execution of data-driven marketing campaigns including sales conversion (where applicable).
- Provide the team with insights on which knowledge on customer is enhanced and marketing activities can be further refined.
- Deliver effective marketing activities to enhance the customer journey, brand interaction and lifetime value.
- Assess and turn all captured data into insights.
- Investigate all data metrics across owned, earned and paid digital platforms to provide valuable insights to assist in design making across the organisation
- Support the optimisation of sales conversion campaigns based on holistic data analysis
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver sound weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports
- Support the development and execution of social marketing strategies that take into consideration insights captured from previous activities.
- Oversee the ongoing measurement, assessment and reporting across owned, earned and paid digital channels including, but not limited to, website, CRM, SEO and SEM
- Ownership of preparing PowerPoint and Excel based presentations that focus on sharing insights captured across all digital platforms
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience as a Data Analyst or Insights Analyst
- Advanced skills in Power BI (Tableau or similar also beneficial)
- Natural curiosity and a proactive approach to exploring data
- Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting insights to stakeholders
- Flexibility to work across time zones (occasional evening calls with Asia/Middle East)
- Degree qualified with 7+ years' experience in marketing analytics.
- Expertise in web technologies such as, but not limited to; Google Analytics, Meta and Adobe. Experience with Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
- Expertise with campaign management, marketing automation, email and direct marketing and supporting technologies
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting insights to a broad range of stakeholders
