Established in 2021, Consort Portugal supports the strategic offshoring choices of our clients, particularly in Europe, and brings our expertise in infrastructure services to the Portuguese market. With a team of around 45 employees, our Service Center based in Porto is developing a dynamic nearshore business, offering the French and European markets an environment of excellence and high potential.

Developer

This is your mission

Are you passionate about data engineering, system integration, and modern data architectures? Then this position is for you.

As a Developer, you will contribute to the evolution of a data ecosystem designed to streamline the integration of new data sources and technologies such as data virtualization and APIs, enabling faster access to high-quality data for business decision-making.

You will help improve data quality and consistency across multiple referential data sources, transforming existing processes and technologies to support faster delivery and more reliable reporting.

Build Side

  • Design and develop the technical solution framework and contribute to TPCV modeling
  • Develop and implement TPCV components, ensuring high performance and scalability
  • Build unit tests and ensure code quality following development best practices
  • Implement data exposure solutions to enable better data accessibility across systems
  • Contribute to improving the data architecture and integration processes

Run Side

  • Industrialize solutions following CI/CD best practices and development standards
  • Participate in validation phases with end users to ensure solutions meet functional needs
  • Analyze existing data sources to improve data consistency and reporting reliability
  • Support the evolution of workflows and tools used in the data ecosystem
  • Collaborate with functional teams to support adoption and continuous improvement of solutions

You have at least 4–6 years of experience in software development or data engineering environments, working with data pipelines, APIs, and modern data ecosystems.

You enjoy building robust technical solutions, improving existing systems, and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions.

You have solid experience in Python development and data engineering, working with data processing frameworks, APIs, and ETL pipelines. You are passionate about building efficient, scalable solutions and improving data accessibility across systems.

This Is Your Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, Polars, SQLAlchemy, Psycopg2, ibmboto3
  • Mastery of good programming practices (CI/CD, unit testing, version control)
  • Mandatory experience with Dataiku
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, IBM Cloud, or similar)
  • Containerization experience using Docker
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and optimization best practices
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Agile tools and methodologies (Jira, Confluence, ALM)
