Business Analyst

Business Analyst (3–5 years’ experience)

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a large‑scale internal transformation project within a key player in the Belgian energy landscape. You will join a multidisciplinary team working on initiatives that contribute directly to the development of a sustainable, reliable, and future‑proof energy infrastructure.

Working alongside internal teams and external consultants, you will play an active role in shaping new business solutions that support long‑term grid development and strategic infrastructure planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Within the scope of the project, you will:

• Analyse and document business requirements for the new solution and its interfaces with SAP and other systems
• Review, control, and validate functional designs delivered by internal IT teams or external partners
• Support requirements testing and prepare User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
• Document business processes, user manuals, and training materials
• Provide support during data migration activities
• Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure Business Analysis team and other involved business analysts

Required Experience & Skills:

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or transformation context
• Experience within the Energy Sector
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to challenge constructively and work as a team player
• Experience with functional solution testing and UAT preparation
• Good understanding of business analysis methodologies
• Knowledge of BPMN
• Familiarity with IREB (certification is a plus)
• Experience with SAP, Copperleaf C55, and/or IBM SAGA is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in English; French and/or Dutch is a strong plus
