Context of the Role

The requires support for the development, deployment, and maintenance of frontend and

backend applications within the Core Lending Solution programme. The assignment focuses

on full-stack development using modern JavaScript frameworks (React) and Java-based

backend technologies, combined with strong DevOps automation practices.

The service contributes to EIB digital transformation initiatives, ensuring scalable,

maintainable, and automated application delivery.

The objectives of the roles are the following:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications

• Implement scalable frontend solutions using React

• Deliver backend services using Java technologies

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation

• Ensure high-quality software delivery through testing and automation

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, test, and document applications

• Develop frontend components (React, JS/TS, HTML, CSS)

• Implement backend services (Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs)

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments

• Automate development lifecycle processes

• Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability

• Work in Agile environments with tight deadlines
