Role Overview:

We are currently recruiting a Java Software Engineer for a Digital Banking, within one of the largest financial groups in Portugal, known for its strong presence in the banking sector and continuous commitment to innovation and digital transformation.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for develop and maintain web-based and standalone applications using Java, ensuring modernization, bug fixes, and new feature implementation. You will drive best practices, promote clean code, review specifications, and collaborate with teams to identify improvements and optimize development processes.

What you are like:

• Academic training in Computer Engineering or similar;
• Solid knowledge and experience in Java;
• Understanding of REST API principles and service/events-oriented architecture;
• Solid experience in CI/CD tools;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
