Job Description
Join a team that is revolutionizing business banking in the Nordics with District, a platform that connects financial data and solutions from multiple providers to provide knowledge and insights to our customers.
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our District Web team and help develop the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power a platform connecting financial data and solutions from multiple providers. Our team is composed of committed individuals who share a common goal of pushing the boundaries of banking and shaping the future of financial services in the Nordics.
Curiosity, drive and intelligence
As a member of our team, you will contribute to building infrastructure that supports a high-quality customer experience on a platform that scales rapidly as our customer base grows. You will work collaboratively with developers, architects, platform engineers, and business team members to incrementally build and deliver a robust and scalable infrastructure that enables our platform to strike users with awe. We use a mix of cutting-edge and mature technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Node.js across our cloud-native architecture.
The role
Your role will require close collaboration with other team members to develop innovative infrastructure solutions that combine efficiency, reliability, and security. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure while continuously improving our deployment and operational practices. Your work will ensure that hundreds of thousands of finance professionals and business owners have seamless access to their financial data and solutions across multiple providers, allowing them to make better decisions and make their workday easier.
A typical day as a DevOps Engineer in District Web
A typical day starts with a daily alignment with the team. Then you either pick up a new infrastructure task or continue with what might have spilled from the day prior. Throughout the day, you collaborate on CI/CD pipeline improvements, monitor system health, and work on automation scripts. Pull requests and infrastructure changes are peer reviewed and continuously deployed to our environments. Scattered across the week, agile ceremonies are conducted to plan using sprint grooming and planning. Retrospectives usually conclude the sprint, enabling an objective and critical perspective on how to improve procedures and ways of working.

About You
To perform well in this role, you should have strong experience with cloud platforms, containerization, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You should have practical expertise with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with solid scripting skills in Python and Bash. Linux system administration knowledge and familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana are valuable.
Above everything else, we value curiosity, drive, and intelligence. You should communicate clearly, be approachable and supportive, and see solutions and opportunities instead of problems. If you are a skilled engineer with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field and relevant work experience, we encourage you to apply. Join our team and be part of a company that is shaping the future of banking in the Nordics.
Monthly salary ranges from 4960 EUR to 7440 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
