Our Dublin based client is looking for a DevOps Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will oversee the implementation and ongoing operations of technical solutions, including data and systems integrations, custom application development, cloud platform integrations, testing, deployment, and continuous operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development and operations, with a proven track record of leading teams in high-paced environments. The client offers an excellent salary and benefits package.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of comprehensive technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the integration of various data sources and systems to ensure seamless functionality and data consistency across platforms.
  • Spearhead the development of bespoke applications tailored to meet the unique needs of the business.
  • Manage the integration and deployment of services across various cloud platforms, optimising resources and ensuring scalability.
  • Establish robust testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and functionality of new software releases. Oversee the deployment processes, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance operational efficiency. Monitor system performance, address potential issues promptly, and ensure system reliability and availability.
  • Lead the DevOps team
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT, software development teams, and business units, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards and security regulations. Implement best practices for data security and system integrity.


Essential Experience:


  • Proven experience as a DevOps Manager or similar leadership role in system operations and software development.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development, system administration, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Experience with automation software and cloud services
  • Proficient in script languages and experienced in coding (Python, Perl, Ruby, Shell).
  • Demonstrable experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
  • A strong command of software-automation production systems and CI/CD tools.


Educational Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
