Platform QA & Automation Lead

Job Purpose:

Responsible for defining and implementing test automation strategy and quality engineering practices for platforms and digital solutions. The role ensures scalable, automated, and efficient testing across the development lifecycle, improving quality, speed, and reliability of releases.

This role promotes a shift-left and automation-first approach to quality across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 8-12+ years in QA or test automation roles
• Experience leading automation initiatives and teams
• Experience in Agile and DevOps environments
• Certifications: ISTQB Advanced / Test Automation certifications, Agile/Scrum

Skills & Abilities:

• Test automation frameworks and tools
• Quality engineering and DevOps practices
• CI/CD and automation pipelines
• API, integration, and UI testing
• Performance and regression testing

Tools:

• Automation: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
• API & Performance Testing: Postman, RestAssured, JMeter
• CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps
• Tracking & Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams
• Reporting: Power BI, Advanced Excel
