About The Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior or Lead Developer to join their growing technology team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the full-stack software delivery process, overseeing projects from initial design through to deployment. You will play a key part in modernizing an existing legacy platform into a contemporary ecosystem leveraging React, Node.js, .NET, and Azure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and mentor a talented team of developers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in delivering production-ready systems, with a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring best practices are followed, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards and processes.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate senior or lead-level experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering reliable, scalable systems in a production environment. Essential qualifications include a strong proficiency in .NET and C#, along with experience in modern web frameworks such as React. Cloud expertise is critical, with a preference for Azure, although AWS or GCP experience will also be valued. Candidates should have solid exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and working within both legacy and greenfield environments. A natural mentor who enjoys guiding and supporting team members will thrive in this role. Additional desirable skills include experience with PowerBI, reports, semantic models, modular design, integration patterns, and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end delivery of complex software systems, ensuring timely and quality releases.
• Designing and implementing scalable, secure solutions on Azure cloud platform.
• Developing modern APIs, backend services, and React-based front-end interfaces.
• Enhancing system reliability, performance, and production readiness through best practices and continuous improvement.
• Providing technical guidance through code reviews, pairing sessions, and architectural discussions.
• Influencing and establishing architecture standards, development practices, and ways of working within the team.
• Mentoring junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
