Senior Project Manager

• Location: Sydney CBD, x3 days per week onsite
• Rate: Up to $1030 + Super daily, based on experience
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Initial 6-month contract, high likelihood of extension

An exciting opportunity for a security focused Senior Project Manager to support an enterprise technology organisation within their Technology Security portfolio. This is a delivery-focused contract role supporting multiple in‑flight cyber and security initiatives.

This opportunity suits a seasoned Senior Project Manager who is comfortable operating in complex, technically led environments and managing delivery across competing priorities.

The Role

You’ll be embedded within a Technology Security delivery function, working across four major programs currently underway. The work is predominately IT and cyber security focused, operating alongside security engineers, network teams and architects.

This is not a business transformation role; it’s hands-on delivery within a technology landscape.

Key focus areas include:

• End-to-end project delivery across security initiatives
• Navigating cross‑functional stakeholders with competing priorities
• Working closely with technical teams (security, networks, engineering)
• Triaging unplanned work and shifting priorities as required
• Clear, confident communication with senior technology stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering complex security focused technology projects
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Confidence working in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments

Security exposure is highly regarded, particularly experience aligned to:

• Identity & Access Management (e.g. SailPoint, CyberArk)
• Security operations or cyber programs
• Splunk, Tenable, vulnerability scanning or incident management
• Endpoint detection, security controls or APIs
• Awareness of NIST or similar security frameworks
• (You don’t need to be hands-on technical, delivery capability is key.)
