Medior UX UI Designer NL

We are looking for a Medior UI/UX Designer NL to join one of our clients' teams.

What are your responsibilities?

• Translate conceptual ideas and requirements into intuitive wireframes and UX flows for both web and mobile applications.
• Work within a Design System to guarantee a consistent, recognizable, and high-quality user experience.
• Support the full project lifecycle, from developing early concepts to creating detailed interface screens ready for developer handover.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplined Agile/Scrum team, participating actively in sprint ceremonies and working closely with Product Owners and Analysts.
• Proactively optimize the user experience by identifying friction points and proposing innovative design solutions.
• Ensure inclusive and accessible designs, aligning all work with WCAG 2.1 standards and best practices.
• Monitor the implementation phase, assisting developers to ensure that the final product remains true to the original UX design.

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a UX Designer, preferably within a government or public sector context.
• Native-level fluency in Dutch (C2 level) is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong expertise in Figma and extensive experience working with existing design systems.
• Proven track record in responsive screen design for complex, content-driven digital platforms.
• Solid understanding of WCAG 2.1 and a passion for creating inclusive, accessible digital experiences.
• Familiarity with UI Frameworks and experience implementing designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (considered a strong plus).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, working proactively to achieve sprint goals.
• Communication & Mindset: You are a communicative team player with a no-nonsense, independent, and result-oriented attitude.
