Senior Front end Developer

My client based in Dublin 2 are seeking a Senior Front end Developer to join their team.

This is an 80% front-end / 20% back-end role, with most of the day-to-day work centred around UI development and customer-facing digital journeys. You’ll be building responsive, high-quality interfaces and working closely with AI-assisted development tools, validating outputs and ensuring everything meets production standards.

The back-end element is lightweight and focused on setup, configuration, and maintaining a smooth development ecosystem rather than deep back-end engineering.

This role suits someone who enjoys front-end development, works efficiently with modern tooling (including AI), and takes a practical, commercially aware approach to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain front-end applications using React and modern UI frameworks
• Deliver high-quality, responsive, customer-facing digital experiences
• Work alongside AI development tools to accelerate build and delivery, validating and refining outputs
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into functional UI solutions
• Support lightweight back-end tasks including environment setup and configuration
• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
• Ensure orchestration, tooling, and deployment pipelines are functioning correctly
• Contribute to API integration work (authentication, data flow, connectivity)
• Participate in agile delivery processes and roadmap planning

Experience Required

• 5+ years’ experience in full stack or front-end focused development roles
• Strong experience with React or similar modern front-end frameworks
• Solid understanding of UI/UX development and building customer-facing applications
• Experience with .NET (C#) and Azure (light to moderate back-end exposure)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
• Understanding of API integration and authentication (OAuth, JWT)
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools in a production environment
• Experience working in product-led, commercial, or fast-paced tech environments preferred
