Senior IAM Engineer

Contract - Initial 6 Months

Hybrid, Dublin

My client, a leading professional services company is on the lookout for a Senior IAM Engineer on an initial 6 month contract with view for extension.

The Job:

• Join the Supervisory Workbench team as a Senior IAM Engineer to lead the implementation, configuration, and management of Keycloak and broader Identity & Access Management solutions.
• Update, deploy, and manage Keycloak on Azure Cloud, including multi-realm setups and Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC).
• Design and implement secure Single Sign-On (SSO), identity federation, and Keycloak Authorisation Services integrated with the core platform.
• Support over 900 internal users by delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable IAM solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and best practice guidance on IAM standards across cross-functional teams.
• Work within a continuous delivery / agile environment with an immediate start and contract running at least until end of 2026.

Have You:

• 7+ years of relevant IAM experience with strong, hands-on Keycloak expertise (including hybrid cloud deployments).
• Deep knowledge of core IAM protocols and concepts: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, On-Behalf-Of (OBO), Token Exchange, and Fine-Grained Authorisation.
• Proven experience configuring and managing Keycloak realms, clients, users, and authorisation policies.
• Solid experience working in agile or continuous delivery environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
• (Nice-to-Have) Hands-on experience developing custom Keycloak extensions using Java/J2EE.
• (Nice-to-Have) Good working knowledge of Azure Cloud services and IAM security/compliance best practices.
