You’ll join an international team in Data & Analytics that partners closely with the business domains to accelerate data adoption and apply analytics and data science to improve the products and services we deliver to our clients. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to modernizing our platform landscape, with a strong focus on evolving and strengthening our Databricks cloud platform.
The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).

You’ll join an international team in Data & Analytics that partners closely with the business domains to accelerate data adoption and apply analytics and data science to improve the products and services we deliver to our clients. In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to modernizing our platform landscape, with a strong focus on evolving and strengthening our Databricks cloud platform.

You will:
- Contribute to improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of the data platform across environments
- Build and maintain platform capabilities, tools, and engineering practices for the Databricks platform
- Participate in the development, testing, and deployment of new platform features and services
- Implement and follow access control, security, and data governance standards
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of issues across test, system, and production environments
- Help automate platform operations, deployment, monitoring, and remediation in collaboration with the team
- Experience working with enterprise scale data platform, including exposure to platform administration and governance (Experience with Databricks is beneficial)
- Practical experience with public cloud platforms, AWS would be beneficial
- Basic to solid understanding of Spark and distributed data processing
- Experience using CI/CD tools and automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with infrastructure or platform automation (e.g. Infrastructure as Code, scripting, or configuration management)
- Experience supporting platforms in production, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
- Awareness of security, access control, and data governance concepts in data platforms
- A strong team player with curiosity, a sense of ownership, and motivation to see tasks through to completion
- Advanced English skills in both written and spoken
