DevOps Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a DevOps Engineer based in Kaunas, with the flexibility of partial remote work. We offer an opportunity to work on a cutting-edge product built with innovative technologies, playing a key role in ensuring security, fraud prevention and Entitlement services used by major telecommunications companies.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support organizational/infrastructure systems
• Analyze and design software build, deployment, and release processes
• Implement IT operations and compliance requirements (e.g., operating procedures, IT security)
• Monitor infrastructure components both internally and in customer environments
• Administer Linux systems, microservices, and web applications
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve system failures in a timely manner
• Develop and execute backup and disaster recovery plans

Requirements

• Experience administering Linux servers and understanding clustering concepts
• Scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python)
• Basic knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience with or knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker)
• Understanding of network configuration and components such as DNS, load balancers, routers, and firewalls

Nice to Have

• Experience with or knowledge of:
• MariaDB Galera Cluster
• ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• ScyllaDB
• Apache Tomcat configuration and installation
• Ansible
• Cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) and related toolchains
• Knowledge of High Availability (HA) architectures
• Strong Python skills
• Teamwork and collaboration experience
