Position: Senior Network Security (Relocation to Belgium)

Location: Mons, Belgium (100% on-site)

We are seeking an Enterprise Edge Security & Network Services Engineer to join the Enterprise Edge Services Section, supporting mission‑critical security and networking capabilities. This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands‑on experience in network security, edge services, cloud‑based protection, and SASE architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and administer cyber security policies, configurations, and enterprise security tools
• Provide Level 2/3 support for INF051 services, including:
• Secure Web Proxies
• Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
• Email Security Gateways
• Remote Access VPN
• DNS & DHCP
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise edge & security infrastructure
• Represent CISS within the Enterprise Security Operations Centre (ESOC)
• Support incident response, service restoration, and operational continuity
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning of infrastructure components
• Contribute to SASE architecture implementation and cloud‑based security services (DDoS protection, secure configurations)
• Ensure compliance with NATO security directives and governance frameworks
• Support automation, orchestration, and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Experience

• Proven experience in enterprise network infrastructure operations
• Hands‑on expertise with:
• DNS / DHCP
• Remote Access VPN
• Secure Web Gateways & Proxies
• Firewalls & Load Balancers
• Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
• Experience with SASE implementation and management
• Experience with cloud‑based security services (DDoS protection, WAF, secure cloud configurations)
• Strong background in technical troubleshooting and incident resolution
