Senior Lead Product Compliance - PLB Compliance
The Senior Lead Product Compliance ensures that IIC products in Hardware, Apparel, and Footwear consistently meet European regulatory requirements and internal PLB compliance standards. The role leads the operational implementation of product compliance across all assigned categories, guiding internal teams, overseeing risk mitigation, and ensuring timely and effective resolution of compliance issues. By driving alignment across functions and maintaining a strong compliance governance framework, the Senior Lead strengthens IIC’s product compliance maturity and safeguards the business from legal, operational, and reputational risks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of the Senior Lead Product Compliance PLB entails several areas of responsibilities
1. Strategy & Compliance Support
- Lead the operational implementation and continuous refinement of the PLB Product Compliance Strategy across assigned categories.
- Drive the planning, prioritization, and execution of product compliance initiatives, ensuring consistent rollout and measurable progress.
2. Legal Watch & Best Practices
- Lead the monitoring and interpretation of product‑relevant EU product compliance regulations and emerging trends, translating these into clear operational requirements and align operational implementation with Senior Lead Product Compliance Operations.
- Drive the identification and implementation of best practices in compliance controls, including documentation and traceability, jointly with key PLB Compliance partners.
3. Compliance Program Management
- Lead the development, maintenance, and implementation of PLB product compliance policies and procedures across categories.
- Ensure compliance documentation and requirements are accurate, current, and aligned with regulatory and internal standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Lead Product Compliance Operations and Senior Manager PLB Compliance Operational Excellence on testing governance, operational controls, and workflow integration.
- Conduct product compliance briefings and oversee category-specific control checks to identify and mitigate risks early.
- Support incident assessment and compliance decision-making, in alignment with PLB Compliance peers.
- Own the lifecycle management of category-based compliance documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement of category-facing compliance processes and tools.
- Provide insights to Head of PLB Compliance on category-specific risks and improvement opportunities.
4. Risk Assessment & Management
- Own the product compliance risk assessment approach, ensuring consistent identification and mitigation of risks across the product lifecycle.
- Lead regular and ad-hoc category-specific risk reporting and ensure timely escalation of critical risks.
- Integrate compliance risk considerations into category planning and cross-functional decision-making.
- Partner with PLB Compliance peers to ensure risk-tracking tools and data effectively support reporting needs.
5. Data & Documentation Governance
- Own product-relevant compliance documentation and data governance, ensuring quality, completeness, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Define and maintain documentation standards and ensure consistent application across teams.
- Monitor data integrity and address documentation gaps or recurring issues.
- Collaborate with PLB Compliance peers to ensure systems and workflows support documentation governance.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Knowledge – Compliance specific
- Strong expertise in EU product regulatory and product safety requirements.
- Ability to interpret regulatory changes and translate them into clear guidance for product teams.
- Solid understanding of documentation, traceability, and compliance record‑keeping.
- Strong analytical skills to convert compliance requirements into practical actions.
- Good grasp of product compliance risk management and its application in category and sourcing contexts.
- Strong business and regulatory acumen with awareness of commercial impacts.

This position is open for a fixed term from September 2026 to August 2027.
