Senior iOS Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland.

About The Role

As a Senior iOS Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and maintain robust and scalable iOS applications with a focus on building reusable components, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and contributing to products used globally
• Cultivate and sustain a high-quality engineering culture, emphasizing software craftsmanship and Swift best practices
• Implement DevSecOps principles in iOS development, adopting a "you build it - you own it" mentality, with a focus on writing secure and efficient Swift code
• Incorporate security and “privacy by design” in mobile application development, ensuring compliance without impeding progress, and maintaining user trust
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into engaging and intuitive iOS applications, prioritizing user experience in all development stages
• Participate in design reviews and user feedback sessions, contributing technical insights to enhance app functionality and user interface design
• Mentor other engineers, elevating their understanding of mobile application design and Swift programming, promoting continuous learning and development

• Incorporate security and “privacy by design” in mobile application development, ensuring compliance without impeding progress, and maintaining user trust
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into engaging and intuitive iOS applications, prioritizing user experience in all development stages
• Participate in design reviews and user feedback sessions, contributing technical insights to enhance app functionality and user interface design
• Foster a seamless collaboration environment between engineering and design teams, ensuring alignment on objectives and timelines
• Mentor other engineers, elevating their understanding of mobile application design and Swift programming, promoting continuous learning and development
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Swift programming language and experience with iOS SDKs, frameworks, and tools
• Strong understanding of iOS design principles, interface guidelines, and best practices
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
• Knowledge of version control systems, like Git, for collaborative development
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines in an iOS environment
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting and optimization
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, especially UX/UI designers
• Ability to mentor and guide junior developers, enhancing team skills and productivity
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and methods, aligning with a fast-paced development environment
• Experience with Swift UI and Apple's latest frameworks, enhancing modern app design and functionality
