Enterprise Architect

Systems Limited – Middle East & Africa (Techvista) is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with strong expertise in the banking domain to lead enterprise-wide architecture strategy and transformation initiatives.

This role requires deep architectural leadership, strong banking industry knowledge, and the ability to align business, application, data, and technology architecture with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise architecture strategy, frameworks, and standards
• Lead end-to-end architecture design across business, application, data, and technology layers
• Align enterprise architecture with banking business strategy and regulatory requirements
• Drive digital transformation and modernization initiatives within banking environments
• Oversee solution architecture for core banking, digital banking, and integration platforms
• Ensure architecture governance, compliance, and risk management across IT systems
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
• Collaborate with C-level stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams
• Support integration of legacy systems with modern platforms (cloud, APIs, microservices)
• Guide architecture reviews, design approvals, and strategic technology decisions

Requirements & Key Skills

• 15+ years of experience in IT, with strong focus on Enterprise Architecture
• Mandatory experience in the banking or financial services domain
• Proven experience defining enterprise architecture frameworks and roadmaps
• Strong knowledge of core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and financial ecosystems
• Experience with integration architectures (APIs, ESB, microservices)
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments)
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
• TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification is a plus
• Strong stakeholder management and C-level communication skills
• Experience in large-scale transformation programs within banking institutions
