Front-end (Angular) Engineer

Danske Bank

Job Description

We are a dynamic and efficient development team, that takes on enterprise challenges to make our colleagues and our own life easier. We build purposeful experiences, not just apps. From ideas to outcomes, we are there every step of the way. Our goal is to empower our colleagues reach their goals with tools that are beautifully designed, intuitive, and easy to use.

We develop web & desktop applications, as well as integrations with existing and new products, by using a wide range of technologies: Angular, React, dotnet, Rust, Figma. We value Human centered design and DevSecOps practices – we follow smooth design & development flow, feedback, continuous learning, and innovation principles.

If you resonate with our approach “from employees to employees” then this opportunity might be just what you’re looking for! You will join a unique autonomous Devhub team on a quest to help others succeed.

You will:

  • Design, build, and maintain modern Angular-based web applications for our internal and employee-facing tools.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs into front-end applications, working closely with back-end engineers on .NET services.
  • Write clean, well-tested code following our standards, and contribute to test coverage using Playwright.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and share knowledge to help improve our ways of working.

About you:

  • You have solid working knowledge of Angular (19+) and TypeScript, and you are comfortable building responsive web apps with clean HTML and CSS.
  • You understand front-end fundamentals - component architecture, state management, reactivity and how to integrate with REST APIs.
  • You have a good understanding of web security and authentication concepts - familiarity with Microsoft Identity (Azure AD / Entra ID) is a strong advantage.
  • You are comfortable working in an iterative environment — we don't do heavy Scrum ceremonies but rather focus on getting things shipped.
  • You follow technology trends, best practices and apply modern updates and improvements in your work.
  • You are detail-oriented, a clear communicator, and comfortable working closely with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • You are curious, self-driven, and collaborative — you see the bigger picture, plan your actions, enjoy helping others succeed, and take feedback as fuel for your growth.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of DevOps workflows, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with containerization (Docker, OpenShift, or similar).
  • Experience working with the Microsoft tech stack (Azure AD, MSSQL, Windows Server environments).
  • Exposure to .NET back-end development - enough to be able to read, understand, and occasionally contribute.

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 3680 EUR to 5520 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

Additionally, each Danske Bank employee receives employee benefits package which includes:
