Senior Security Engineer – Cybersecurity

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract: 12-Month Extendable Contract

We are supporting a leading technology and AI-driven organisation in the UAE that is looking to hire a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen and enhance its enterprise cybersecurity operations across network, endpoint, application, and cloud environments.

This role will focus on implementing and improving security controls, investigating threats and incidents, tuning security tooling, and working closely with infrastructure, DevOps, and operational teams to improve the organisation’s overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse alerts across SIEM, EDR/XDR, NDR, PAM, and vulnerability management platforms
• Identify and assess security risks across infrastructure, applications, endpoints, and cloud environments
• Conduct access reviews and support privileged access governance activities
• Perform security hardening and configuration reviews across systems and cloud platforms
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation activities
• Manage and enforce endpoint compliance through MDM technologies
• Review firewall and WAF configurations to ensure secure access and traffic filtering
• Coordinate remediation activities for vulnerabilities and security findings
• Support onboarding and correlation of logs into SIEM environments
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience across multiple domains
• Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, NDR, PAM, and vulnerability management technologies
• Knowledge of cloud security across AWS and/or Azure
• Strong understanding of endpoint, infrastructure, and application security
• Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
• Experience working within enterprise-scale security environments
• Relevant vendor certifications are highly advantageous
