We have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join our Human Resources (HR) team, which will allow a student to gain an ideal foundation for a career in HR. The apprentice will join the People Services & Solutions (PSS) team, and will support the delivery of HR operational services across the employee lifecycle. The role is designed as a learning‑first position, combining practical experience in a global HR environment with academic training delivered by a French educational institution.

As an apprentice, you will join one of our flagship trading services – LCH SA, a leading global clearing house providing clearing services to international clients.

Eligibility

To be eligible you should be either on track to enter a master’s degree in 2026 or currently enrolled in a master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Management, or a related field.

Please note that the duration of the apprenticeship will vary from 1 year to 2 years, depending on whether you are a Master 1 or Master 2 student.

What You Will Do

This apprenticeship provides hands‑on exposure to HR administration, service delivery, data management, and process excellence, while progressively building autonomy and professional skills.

Under the guidance of experienced manager, the apprentice will:

  • Support HR operational and administrative activities across the employee lifecycle (hire to retire)
  • Assist with:
    • Employee onboarding and offboarding processes
    • Workforce administration and employee data updates
    • Preparation and coordination of HR documentation (contracts, amendments, certificates)
    • Employee lifecycle events (role changes, working time changes, personal data updates)
  • Support case handling via HR systems and ticketing tools (e.g. Workday, ServiceNow)
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of data in compliance with internal policies and GDPR requirements
  • Respond to employee queries in a professional and service‑oriented manner
  • Collaborate with other People Functions (e.g., Benefits, Talent), Payroll to support processes and administrative tasks
  • Contribute to process documentation, standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the use of digital tools and AI‑enabled solutions within People Services & Solutions to improve efficiency, consistency, and service quality
  • Actively participate in training sessions, learning programmes, and Early Careers activities

You should be currently pursuing a master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Management or a related field

  • You will need to show excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills.
  • You should have a demonstrable interest in HR or People Operations
  • Individuals who are able to connect the dots and think strategically.  
  • Being able to see the bigger picture and make connections between different things is a great skill to have.

Recruitment Process:

  • The first stage of the recruitment process involves making an application and submitting your resume.
  • The next stage of the application process is an untimed Immersive Online Assessment. The assessment is designed to give you an insight into what it’s like to work at LSEG.
  • The second stage is a video interview where you will answer a series of questions using a strength-based-interview style
  • The final stage is a half day assessment centre which involves several different types of exercises – further information is provided at the point of invite.

Ce que vous ferez

Cet apprentissage offre une expérience concrète en administration RH, prestation de services, gestion des données et excellence des processus, tout en développant progressivement votre autonomie et vos compétences professionnelles.

Sous la supervision d’un manager expérimenté, l’apprenti :

  • Soutient les activités opérationnelles et administratives RH tout au long du cycle de vie des employés (de l'embauche à la retraite)
  • Assiste pour :
    • Les processus d’intégration et de départ des employés
    • Administration du personnel et mise à jour des données des employés
    • Préparation et coordination de la documentation RH (contrats, avenants, certificats)
    • Événements du cycle de vie des employés (changement de poste, changement du temps de travail, mise à jour des données personnelles)
  • Soutient la gestion des dossiers via les systèmes RH et les outils de ticketing (par ex. : Workday, ServiceNow)
  • Veille à l’exactitude et à la qualité des données, en conformité avec les politiques internes et le RGPD
  • Répond aux demandes des employés de manière professionnelle et orientée service
  • Collabore avec les autres fonctions People (ex. : Avantages sociaux, Talent), la paie, pour soutenir les processus et tâches administratives
  • Contribue à la documentation des processus, à la standardisation et aux initiatives d’amélioration continue
