We are looking to hire a Network Engineer to join our team. The Network Engineer is responsible for supporting the organization’s computing and telecommunication network operations and procedures. The position is responsible for the physical server environment, Cisco networks, Network/PC-based manufacturing equipment, and providing support for users’ software and hardware needs.

What do you need to bring to the table?

  • Manages connectivity between systems and inter-networking of various operating systems.
  • Project Management, Problem Solving, LAN Knowledge, Networking Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation, Network Troubleshooting.
  • Manage and maintain LAN Switching, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, Phone System, Firewall.
  • Responsible to maintain the WAN/LAN links between all sites.
  • Address and develop security response plan to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in the environment.
  • Install and configure software and hardware.
  • Develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
  • Perform the restoration of routine to complex computing service operations.
  • Integrate security solutions into network.
  • Manage network servers and technology tools.
  • Responsible for incident, change, problem management, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Knowledge of network load balancing, remote access, and emerging SD-WAN technologies.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain all network devices (switches, hubs, routers, firewalls, SANs, and servers).
  • Able to effectively manage complex systems, networks, and IT environments.
  • Function as the security administrator for the network to ensure that proper user access accounts are meeting organizational security compliance standards.
  • Troubleshoot mid- and large-scale network deployments.
  • Configure networking hardware to latest industry and manufacturer standards and best practices.
  • Responsible for day-to-day performance of IT systems, network, and infrastructure, including maintenance and availability.
  • Troubleshoot application, security, and network related issues.
  • Script and automate routine tasks.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network cabling and other networking equipment including routers, switches, access points, and UPS.
  • Create technical support documentation / SOPs of networks, network devices and rules.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new network technologies.
  • Safeguard data and systems from potential threats and malicious intent.
  • Responsible for evaluating systems configurations and ensuring currency of all patch levels, drivers, and hardware to meet business and security needs.
  • Responds to emergency situations as needed, during and after normal business hours, to identify, assess and mitigate critical operational issues.
  • Other dues as assigned.

What do you need to bring to the table?

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Information Systems field or related work experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco (switches, routers, firewalls, access points), Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, Site-to-Site connections. Working with designing, configuring, debugging, and supporting Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN), utilizing BGP, EIGRP, VLAN, MPLS, AVPN, ACL, DHCP, SNMP, Log Aggregation, Port Channel.
  • Preferred Cisco networking and design certification (CCNA, CCNP and CCDA, CCDP).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience of infrastructure components and concepts (Server/Client, networking, virtualization, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, Firewall (Microsoft), Storage, Backup).
  • Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery planning experience.
  • 2+ years experience with PowerShell.
  • Experience and knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS services.
