Senior .NET Engineer

Salary: 5500 - 7056 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your skills and experience, but we are flexible.

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (hybrid)

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week)

6-month contract with a high possibility of extension.

What You'll Be Doing

We are looking for a skilled .NET Engineer to join our dynamic team, working with one of the leading financial institutions in the country. The role is part of a key business-facing product area at our client's company – the Meeting Squad. Every day, financial advisers and customers use the platform to schedule and conduct both online and in-person meetings, enabling seamless delivery of financial services and advice. A smooth user journey, high quality, and strong system availability are critical to success in this role.

How You'll Spend Your Day

• Refactor the code base.
• Reduce the complexity of the code base.
• Coach younger colleagues.
• Maintain and improve code.
• Develop new features.
• Participate in production releases.
• Participate in incident management.
• Design and develop cloud-native systems.
• Write tests.
• Write .NET and Java services.
  
  

You'll be successful if you have

• Experience with .NET (5+ years), Dapper, ASP.NET MVC, MSSQL, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch.
• Experience in building Cloud-Native solutions & using cloud infrastructure (AWS experience would be a bonus).
• Understanding of CI/CD principles, with bonus points for familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Ability to take ownership and responsibility to carry out deliveries in a structured manner.
• Ability to suggest technical solutions and openly share them with a team.
• Strong focus on code quality.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Upper- Intermediate English skills.
• Experience in Java is a strong bonus.
