As part of a large‑scale global transformation, a world‑leading FMCG company has partnered with Infosys to redesign and elevate its Global Business Services (GBS) to world‑class standards. To support this journey, we are seeking a Project Manager (PM) who is accountable for end-to-end delivery of transformation projects within the GBS portfolio - driving scope, plan, governance, risks / dependencies, stakeholder alignment and benefits tracking to ensure on-time and on-budget outcomes in our Bucharest delivery center. The Project Manager within our Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization, will support execution of strategic initiatives that enable our transformation into a standalone company. This role is instrumental in driving operational excellence, supporting process transformation and enabling the setup of new GBS hubs across global locations.

You will lead global projects, including:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic and operational projects across the GBS transformation portfolio;
• Partner with Hub Leaders to coordinate hub setup / expansion activities across our global locations;
• Drive process transformation initiatives in collaboration with Transition Managers and functional leads;
• Build and maintain integrated project plans (scope, milestones, resources, budget, dependencies;
• Run governance: RAID, status reporting, steering updates, decision logs and issue escalation;
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues and ensure timely reporting to leadership;
• Ensure adherence to project governance standards and methodologies;
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across functions and geographiies;
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables;
• Drive change adoption with stakeholders (communications, training coordination, readiness tracking);
• Track delivery outcomes and benefits realization; support post-implementation reviews and lessons learned;
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and standardization within project scope;
• Share best practices and lessons learned to enhance project delivery across the GBS organization.

Skills you need to be part of the team:

• Bachelor’s degree in business / project management;
• 8+ years’ experience delivering cross-functional projects in a global environment (GBS / Shared Services / CoE prefered);
• Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects with measurable impact;
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across cultures and time zones;
• Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies (Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid);
• PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

Must have competencies:

• Strong planning, organizational and execution skills;
• Strong analytical, planning and financial discipline (baseline vs actual, benefits tracking);
• Confident managing senior stakeholders across cultures and time zones;
• Excellent written and verbal English skills;
• Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
