Position: Web Developer

Experience Needed: 4 years

Job Summary

We are on the lookout for a skilled Web Developer with a robust technical foundation, strong analytical skills, and a record of creating scalable, responsive, and user-centric websites. This position involves enhancing and maintaining current websites, adding new functionalities, addressing technical problems, and optimizing web performance in line with SEO best practices and recommendations.

Main Duties

Backend Web Developer

• Web Creation and Design
  
  

Design, create, and launch new web pages and applications that boast high performance and scalability.

Guarantee that all web pages and applications are responsive, SEO optimized, and work seamlessly across different browsers and devices.

Work together with design and content teams to build visually engaging and functional interfaces.

• Content Management and Updates
  
  

Maintain and update web content and pages to fit marketing and business objectives.

Administer dynamic content changes through CMS platforms like WordPress.

Set up webhook updates for synchronization of lead data from web forms to CRM or email marketing systems.

• Lead Generation and Conversion Enhancement
  
  

Implement and manage exit-intent and inactivity pop-ups on lead generation pages, including Free Trial, Contact, and Pricing pages.

Create lead forms for the download of brochures and other marketing content, ensuring data accuracy and analytics tracking.

Establish email validation protocols to limit personal email usage (e.g., from Gmail) on targeted landing pages to enhance lead quality.

• Issue Management and Troubleshooting
  
  

Identify and fix website issues such as pop-up overlay conflicts, sitemap inaccuracies, 404 errors, and HTTP to HTTPS linking problems.

Coordinate with third-party services, like Nitropack, to resolve plugin and optimization challenges.

• Website Maintenance and Monitoring
  
  

Conduct regular maintenance duties, including updates to plugins, frameworks, and CMS platforms.

Ensure security measures are enacted, including SSL updates and monitoring for vulnerabilities.

• Performance Improvement
  
  

Conduct weekly maintenance checks, such as cache purging and script/CSS exclusion management to avoid conflicts with optimization.

Resolve issues like overlay or rendering conflicts after optimization.

Test Nitropack plugin updates in a non-production environment before applying changes to live sites.

Adjust and refine Nitropack settings to attain optimum performance while preserving functionality and design aesthetics.

Qualifications And Skills

Technical Skills:

Frontend Development

Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.

Experience with principles of responsive and mobile-first web design.

Backend Development

In-depth knowledge of server-side languages, including PHP and Node.js.

Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.

CMS Proficiency

Experienced in WordPress or similar CMS platforms.

Custom theme and plugin development capabilities for CMS tools.

Additional Tools And Platforms

Familiar with CDNs such as Nitropack or Cloudflare.

Experience in version control with Git/GitHub.

Experience Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in website development.

Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting technical challenges and implementing scalable solutions.

A portfolio showcasing previous projects and expertise.
