IT Search has partnered with a well-established Irish organisation undergoing a major digital transformation, with a strong focus on building and scaling modern web and mobile platforms. They’re looking to add a PHP Developer to support the continued growth of their product offering.

This is a hands-on role working across the full development lifecycle, with a strong focus on backend development using PHP and Laravel. You’ll be contributing to the development of scalable applications, modernising existing systems, integrating APIs and external services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, and supporting deployment processes and modern development workflows. The role will also provide exposure to frontend, mobile, and DevOps technologies as part of ongoing projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in a PHP Development or similar role
• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
• Solid frontend skills with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Good understanding of REST APIs and modern development workflows
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vue or React
• Exposure to Docker or similar tools
• Interest in mobile development or exposure to Flutter
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS or similar)
• Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing
