Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Back-end Software Engineer with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of programming principles for production systems and experience in designing and implementing field software solutions across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement field software solutions using Java and Python for Windows and Linux platforms.
• Play a key role in defining the design, implementation, and testing of software components for distributed systems.
• Collaborate within a multi-discipline development team to deliver products efficiently.
• Ensure software quality by applying Clean-Code principles and utilizing automated tests within a CI/CD pipeline.
• Contribute innovative ideas and novel electronic design solutions to address business and customer challenges.
• Drive improvements in team working practices to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Produce and review technical, quality, and production documentation.
• Support products throughout their lifecycle.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Excellent understanding of programming principles for production systems.
• Strong experience with Java, and Python.
• Familiarity with databases such as MariaDB, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices using Team City.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Bitbucket (Git).
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Open-minded with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with the Atlassian platform.
• Understanding of embedded systems programming.
• Familiarity with other programming languages.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
• Self-motivated with a creative and pioneering spirit.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Electronic, Optical, and Software
