Why This Role Exists

Search behavior is shifting fast. More users are skipping Google entirely and going straight to ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini to find out which exchange to use, which product to trust, and which platform ranks where. AI search is becoming a primary discovery channel for crypto — and for whoever steps into this role, it's a greenfield opportunity to build something that doesn't exist yet and own the results end to end.

We're hiring the first person to build this from the ground up.

What You'll Own

• Drive Gate's presence and recommendation frequency inside AI-generated responses — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and whatever comes next.
• Build a content system designed for AI ingestion: structured data schemas, authoritative reference pages, FAQ layers, and citation-ready assets that LLMs consistently pull from.
• Design and maintain a monitoring dashboard that tracks Gate's AI share-of-voice across high-value queries in the crypto and Web3 space — and benchmarks it against the broader competitive landscape.
• Partner with SEO, Content, and PR to extend GEO coverage across Gate's core verticals — futures, Launchpad, staking, Web3 wallet, and beyond.
• Stay close to how AI search products evolve — RAG architectures, model update cycles, prompt-based discovery — and continuously adapt Gate's strategy ahead of the curve

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience in GEO, AI search optimization, or a closely related field — hands-on, not just theoretical
• Strong SEO foundation: technical SEO, structured data, content strategy, and keyword research
• Deep understanding of how LLMs retrieve, rank, and cite information — and how to engineer content to influence that
• Ability to build measurement frameworks from scratch, define metrics where none exist, and translate ambiguous signals into clear priorities
• Fluent in the crypto and Web3 landscape — you can speak credibly about exchanges, futures, DeFi, wallets, and Launchpad products
• Experience working cross-functionally with content, PR, and SEO teams and driving alignment without direct authority
• Self-directed and comfortable in 0→1 environments — you set your own roadmap and move without waiting for a playbook
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin — you'll be working across global and Chinese-speaking teams
• Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field
• Background from a top-tier crypto exchange (Binance, OKX, Coinbase, Bybit), crypto-native media (CoinDesk, The Block, PANews), major tech or internet company (ByteDance, TikTok, Alibaba, SHEIN), or a GEO/AI search agency
