NOW HIRING | Manager / Senior Manager – Payroll Analytics
We are seeking an experienced Manager / Senior Manager – Payroll Analytics to lead a high-performing analytics squad focused on payroll compliance, remediation modelling, and regulatory delivery within a large and complex enterprise environment.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines:
- Strong technical analytics capability
- Functional understanding of payroll and payroll compliance
- Leadership and stakeholder management experience
This role is NOT purely technical — we specifically require candidates who understand how payroll works operationally and functionally, alongside strong data and modelling capability.
You will lead teams delivering large-scale payroll remediation and compliance initiatives, partnering closely with Payroll, Risk, Legal, Delivery, and Technology stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing:
• Leading a team of Payroll Analytics Consultants
• Designing and overseeing payroll remediation models
• Translating payroll/compliance requirements into technical solutions
• Managing stakeholder engagement and delivery governance
• Driving quality assurance, audit defensibility, and model validation
• Working across complex payroll datasets, awards, entitlements, and remediation calculations
Technical experience required:
• Strong Python and SQL
• Jupyter Notebooks / GitHub
• Advanced Excel
• Large-scale data analysis and modelling
• Data quality, lineage, and root cause analysis
Highly regarded:
• Payroll remediation or payroll analytics experience
• Risk/compliance analytics experience
• Power BI, Snowflake, AWS or data engineering exposure
• Experience in regulated enterprise environments
Ideal background:
We are particularly interested in candidates who have BOTH:
• Functional payroll domain understanding
AND
• Strong technical/data analytics capability
