About the Job:

Senior IT Business Analyst – Finance & Supply Chain is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes across Finance and Supply Chain domains in ERP, translating complex business requirements into scalable functional and system solutions. The role acts as a critical link between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technology delivery. The Senior Business Analyst drives process improvement, ERP solution design, and requirement governance while ensuring compliance, scalability, and business value realization, and supports product roadmap execution, implementation, and continuous enhancement of Finance and Supply Chain systems.

Responsibilities

• Collecting the requirement, analyzing and formalizing in formal requirement documents for various stages like Context Diagram, Use Case Diagram, Sequence or Activity diagram, Object Diagram, Logical and physical ER diagram. Using various tools and techniques to format and simplify requirements in a way that suits various levels of stakeholder.
• Performing detail Gap analysis, Forward/Reverse Engineering or benchmarking as part of R&D / Discovery.
• Clear process definition, business process mapping (BPM), modeling, analysis, and documentation of the cross-functional core business processes (As-is & To-be).
• Perform solid prototyping/wireframing to visualize working design prior to move in development.
• Ensure alignment with accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance requirements
• Transform the requirement in well organize documents such as requirement traceability matrix and link all the points to better visibility and tracking
• Produce functional test cased and perform functional testing to make sure the quality and smooth functional delivery.
• Manage the product vision, product roadmap, product function, features and align with market demand.
• Continuously Introduce competitive feature to stay product in market.
• Enhance user experience and improve the features to bring excellence in routine work.
• Work as an interface among various stakeholders in terms of requirement collection, analysis and solution design, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Through understanding and experience of managing Agile (Scrum) and Lean (Kanban) methodology to manage the product development and team.
• Continuously enhancing the quality of products, process, and features.,
• Propose technological solutions to business requirements.
• Involved in scrum master activities and support product owners.
• Engaged in application architecture and technical design.
• Analyze business processes across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Logistics, and Treasury
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Stakeholders
• Conduct gap analysis between current state and target state processes
• Design ERP configurations and integration requirements for Finance & Supply Chain modules
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement validation sessions
• Provide subject matter expertise during implementation and rollout
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analysis standards and frameworks.

Competency Requirement:

• Strong understanding of Finance and Supply Chain business processes, including:
• General Ledger, AP, AR, Treasury, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting
• Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, Logistics, and Order Management
• Ability to map business processes into system workflows and ERP functionalities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, process-driven mindset.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and product backlog management.
• Ability to balance business priorities, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

AI Awareness & Responsibilities:

• Maintain awareness of emerging AI technologies and their impact on enterprise applications.
• Identify opportunities to enhance and support processes using AI-driven tools.
• Use AI tools to optimize the role activities and tasks to meet the business target relevant to AI adoption, process optimization, results improvement, time saving, and efficiency.
• Ensure responsible and ethical use of AI in line-of-business systems and policies.
• Participate in AI-related training, workshops, and capability development initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI insights into problem-solving and system optimization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, IT, Engineering, or related field
• Master’s degree (MBA, MIS, or related) – preferred
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or IIBA certifications – preferred
• Finance-related certifications such as CFA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA – advantageous
• ERP certifications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) – preferred
• Agile certifications (PSPO, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent) – advantageous

Experience

Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Business Analysis within Finance and/or Supply Chain domains
