QHSE Functional Consultant

We are seeking a Functional Consultant – QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) with strong domain expertise and leadership capabilities. The role involves leading end-to-end implementation of QHSE systems, driving business transformation, and leveraging AI-driven insights to enhance safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

The candidate will play a strategic role in solution design, stakeholder engagement, and continuous system improvement while mentoring junior consultants and contributing to product innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Delivery & Implementation

• Lead end-to-end implementation of QHSE systems across multiple projects
• Conduct workshops, requirements gathering, and process analysis (As-Is / To-Be)
• Design and configure QHSE modules including:
• Risk Management
• Incident Management
• Audit & Inspection
• Compliance Management
• Training & Competency

Project Execution

• Manage full delivery lifecycle:
• Configuration & customization
• Data migration
• Testing (UAT, Integration, Regression)
• Go-live & hypercare support
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality

Consulting & Transformation

• Advise clients on QHSE best practices and digital transformation strategies
• Drive integration with ERP systems (HR, Finance, Supply Chain)
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, compliance, and risk management

Collaboration & Leadership

• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and product owners
• Mentor junior consultants and promote delivery excellence
• Contribute to presales, demos, and solution proposals

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Identify product enhancements and support innovation initiatives
• Ensure long-term value realization and continuous optimization for clients

AI & Digital Enablement

• Leverage AI/ML capabilities for:
• Predictive risk analysis
• Incident trend analysis
• Utilize AI-driven dashboards and analytics tools
• Apply automation (RPA) to streamline compliance and reporting processes
• Explore use of NLP for incident reporting and document analysis
• Ensure responsible and ethical use of AI in all solutions

Skills Requirements

✅ Domain Expertise

• Strong knowledge of QHSE processes, frameworks, and regulations
• Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
• Experience with ERP-integrated QHSE systems
• Understanding of SaaS, cloud, and on-premise environments

✅ Functional & Technical Skills

• Strong experience in:
• Business analysis & process modeling (BPMN, Use Cases)
• Functional design & system configuration
• Software Development Life Cycle SDLC and implementation methodologies
• Hands-on experience in testing (UAT, integration testing)

Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in QHSE system implementation/consulting.
• Minimum 3–5 full lifecycle implementations.
• Experience in leading projects or handling senior stakeholder engagement.
• Exposure to AI-enabled or data-driven QHSE solutions is highly preferred.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor of Computer Science/ Software Eng. / IT
• Business Analysis Certification (CBAP) is a plus.
• QHSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO Lead Auditor) – Strong advantage.
