About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Unity Developer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in developing and enhancing our mobile gaming portfolio, focusing on creating engaging gameplay, stunning graphics, and smooth animations. The Senior Unity Developer will be responsible for translating game design concepts into functional, high-quality products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and business development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile gaming, expertise in Unity development, and an interest in blockchain and Bitcoin technologies. This role offers the opportunity to influence the entire development lifecycle, from ideation through launch and post-release support, contributing to our mission of gamifying the world with Bitcoin.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Unity development and professional game development
• Experience in publishing a mobile game from inception to completion
• Proficiency in C# programming language
• Strong understanding of gameplay programming and game mechanics
• Ability to independently manage projects with excellent time management and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Fluent in written and spoken English
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in Bitcoin and the Lightning Network
• Experience creating and publishing games on Google Play and the App Store
• Experience providing constructive feedback to team members across all levels
• Proven track record of working on and launching successful mobile games
  
  

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm, plan, and execute new game ideas from concept to launch
• Drive the development process, offering suggestions and improvements to enhance code quality throughout production
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to develop high-quality gaming products that meet user needs
• Implement new game features and services in partnership with the product and backend teams
• Focus on developing THNDR’s casual and hypercasual game portfolio, ensuring top-tier gameplay, graphics, and animations
• Create, debug, maintain, and optimize the game engine, editor, and related development tools
