DevOps Engineer - Azure | 12 month Contract + possible extensions

Location: Limerick, Ireland (with occasional on-site presence required)

A leading global healthcare company with a strong commitment to innovation and technological advancement is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the success of their Next Gen project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure:Manage and optimize our Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environment.
• Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions on Azure.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
• DevOps Practices:Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Monitor system health and performance using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Technical Expertise:Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, including networking, security, and scalability.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Groovy).
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
• Knowledge of software development practices (Git, Java, Go).

• Kubernetes core concepts (kubectl, ingress, Helm)
• DevOps tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible)
