Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM is seeking a self-starter and detail-oriented Events Specialist to manage in person and virtual events operations for the IBM Analyst Relations team. The Events Specialist will support the execution of all events work streams, from partnership with IBM Corporate and BU Events team, all AR logistics and reporting, internal processes and operations, tooling and technology, and budget management. The Events Specialist will work across all digital and face to face Analyst Relations events to ensure consistent experience for the analyst community.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong passion for events, the candidate is always up-to-date on the latest event best practices and trends; experience with digital platforms

• Excellent writer, communicator and organizer
• Demonstrated event management success experience across daily management of all session and speaker logistics including session details, speaker assignments, and profiles, session scheduling, proofreading, presentations, session tagging, and more

• Professional experience with event tools and platforms
• Experience in B2B technology
• History of working with analysts & influencers
