Senior AI/ML Engineer – 12 Month Contract

We’re partnering with an innovative client to hire a Senior AI/ML Engineer for a high-impact 12-month contract engagement.

This is an opportunity to join a cross-functional engineering team building next-generation intelligent platforms at scale. The role is heavily focused on end-to-end MLOps, cloud-native infrastructure, and deploying production-grade machine learning systems that drive real business outcomes.

🔹 What you’ll be doing:

• Architect and scale end-to-end MLOps ecosystems for high-volume predictive platforms

• Build and optimise real-time and batch ML inference pipelines

• Deploy and maintain scalable ML services using AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, MLflow, Airflow/Dagster

• Work closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, and stakeholders to move ML models from R&D into production

• Drive best practices across ML Engineering, DevOps, and software delivery

• Translate complex ML concepts into measurable business impact and KPIs

• Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong collaborative engineering culture

🔹 We’re looking for strong experience in:

✅ AWS cloud infrastructure

✅ Kubernetes & containerisation

✅ End-to-end MLOps lifecycle management

✅ MLflow, Airflow and/or Dagster

✅ Kafka & real-time/streaming data pipelines

✅ Production ML deployment and scalability

✅ Python & SQL

✅ Strong software engineering and DevOps principles

🔹 Highly desirable:

➕ GenAI / LLM / NLP exposure

➕ Experience in regulated environments or model explainability

➕ Experience linking ML initiatives to measurable business outcomes (A/B testing, KPIs, optimisation)

➕ Leadership, ownership and stakeholder management experience
