The Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) unit of Tietoevry is a leading provider of fraud prevention, anti-money laundering (AML) and identity solutions in the Nordics. FCP’s mission is to help keep financial systems and society at large, safe from criminal activity.

We reduce corporate risk, prevent fraud, and manage AML processes as well as securing that the company’s services are delivered according to regulatory demands.

Our unit has applied a holistic approach to financial crime prevention, which affects every step of the end-customer journey. We bring in information from a wide variety of data sources- and systems before we apply algorithms and machine learning capabilities to understand new fraud patterns. By automating and adapting our models dynamically, we continue to prevent attempts of fraud before they are executed. We believe that being data- and customer-centric in all our activities, we can deliver better services, new functionalities, and lower the cost across the portfolio to our customers.

As part of the team in FCP you will amongst others take part in:

• Developing business critical services for the AML domain
• Working closely with product owner, business analyst and architect on integrated solutions
• Developing new REST services in accordance with best practices
• Optimize applications for high performance, scalability, and availability
• Collaborating with architecture team, propose improvements, and take lead on deciding new implementation areas
• Model and deliver technical design solutions for our products

We are also looking for the following background and experience:

• Minimum 3 of experience as a software developer
• Experience with front-end development of enterprise software applications
• Java, Spring Boot
• Some experience with Angular, React or similar
• Maven, GitHub Actions, Containers, Kubernetes, and similar technologies
• Good understanding of code design and best practices
• Experience with working in cross functional teams and agile processes
• Fluent in English and good communication and presentation skills
