The Developer Experience tribe offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the productivity and satisfaction of developers here at Danske Bank.

We are excited to announce the new position of Technical Product Owner for newly established SDLC and Standards squad within the Developer Experience Tribe. As the Product Owner, you will be responsible for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) instruction, framework & best practices, training, controls, developer journeys, standardised development workflows and quality of tribe documentation.

You will:

  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the backlog of user stories for your Squad
  • Constantly communicate with developers to understand issues and needs and ensure the team has time to focus on delivery
  • Define outcomes and vision to deliver customer value and ensure compliance and security
  • Assist the Squad in sharing outcome to senior members during agile events
  • Address data issues within the applications, products, and services you own
  • Ensure products comply with internal governance requirements and maintain standards set by Enterprise Product Repository
  • Be responsible for the ongoing assessment, review, and performance monitoring of the entire product portfolio
  • Be accountable for compliance, contracts, and performance monitoring of the applications / services owned
  • Manage activities related to reducing technical debt and ensuring a sustainable and healthy product

About you:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role in a technical environment
  • Background in software development or a related technical field
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with automation tools and processes in a software development context is a plus
  • Familiarity with financial services or working in a regulated environment is a plus
  • Customer focused, ideally with proven success in enhancing developer experiences
  • Leadership skills with the ability to build, guide, and inspire a team. Strong focus on ability to set direction, communicate priorities and collaboration
  • Good strategic planning abilities, and the ability to convey strategy to executable actions. This includes roadmap development and executing large-scale projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, as well as developers and management
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to manoeuvre in ambiguity, as well as an analytical mindset to make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to thrive in a high pace environment with high level of empowerment
  • Advanced English (written and oral)

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 5200 EUR to 7800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
